Illustrator designed fabrics for your home
The British coast and countryside can have a place inside the home with a new range by Lewis & Wood bringing the outside in.
The producer of lovely fabrics and wall papers has turned to designer, illustrator and wood engraver Andrew Davidson for new inspiration.
It seems Mr Davidson has drawn on his love for wood and the outdoors to create new fabric prints ideal for a provincial country-style interior.
The Royal Oak is an intricate design of farm and wilderness imagery.
It was created using a wood cutting which was enlarged to make the print.
Observers will spot the towering spire of St Mary's Church Tetbury in the print and the River Avon.
Birds and animals feature heavily in the design which is a tapestry of sprawling countryside farm life.
It is made of cotton and linen and is available in two colours for both spring and autumn tones.
The second design is the Lamorna Cove and is perfect for those wanting to style any room to a contemporary seaside theme.
It features an underwater view of the mysterious depths of the ocean with an intertwining array of seals, seahorses, fish and seaweed.
There are five colours available and it is made of 100 per cent cotton.
Use these materials as a feature of a room with curtains or wallpaper providing an instant new look.
